For my Facebook live I decided to focus on a card sketch. 

Sketches used to be a huge challenge, now they are an inspiration to get started with my cards. It’s an idea (layout) all you need to do is pick your DSP and decide what bundle you would like to use or the best match with the DSP.

There are a lot of places where you can find sketches, some provide measurements others do not. 

Spend about 10 minutes on Pinterest and focus on a basic sketch. That should give you a head start on card making and get creative.

The sketches I used for the live came from an exclusive group that you can only join when you become a Demonstrator.

This is one of the many perks of being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. Once you’re in the group, we get to participate in challenges (not mandatory.)

This exclusive group is full of ideas, it will keep your creativity flowing. 

I made one card for this live, kept it simple. Sweet and simple cards are a challenge and the sketch helped me keeping it that way.

However, I will give you the measurements but not instructions. If you would like to know how I achieved a certain technique, I suggest you watch the video.

If time permits, I tend to stamp the inside of the card while I am live, if not I usually include a picture.

I am making it a habit to stamp the inside of every card I create because it makes it so much easier to mail off, all I have to do is write my message and sign off. 

CARD 1 (landscape)

Cardbase: 8 ½’ x 5 ½’ scored at 4 ¼’

                  Black cardstock- mat 5 5/16’ x 4 1/8’

DSP: 161175 STARGAZING 12" X 12" - $12.50

         Cut 3 strips at 1 ½’ x 3 11/16’
