Another week has gone by and summer is coming to an end.

I am excited for summer to be over, so over this heat. 

We don’t get “fall” weather, is HOT all year long, but not like it is in the summer. 

For this week, I decided to make a fun fold, mini-slim line card.

Let me know in the comments if you are a fan of slim line cards; I think they are super cute. 

If you do not like to write to the recipient, mini-slim line is the way to go.

What inspired me to make a mini-slim line card? 

Last week’s live featured the Blossoms Wishes Kit and it has a regular and mini slim line cards. 

Use the kit’s as an inspiration to create other cards, use the same layout or change the direction of it.

However, I will give you the measurements but not instructions. If you would like to know how I achieved a certain technique I suggest you watch the video.

I made 1 card and had a show case others kits I own.

CARD 1 (Fun Fold)

(my sample has a bow but did not like it, so I decided not to add it.)

Cardbase: 6 ¼” x 3 ¼” Azure Afternoon

Cardstock: 11”x 2 ½” Lemon Lime

                  Scored at; 5 ½” and 4 ¼”

DSP: 6”x 3” (stripes)

         1”x 2 ¼” (blue)

         4”x 2 ¼” (multi pattern)

Ink: Azure Afternoon

         Blueberry Bushel

Bubble Bath

Lemon Lolly

Lemon Lime Twist

If time permits, I tend to stamp the inside of the card while I am live, if not I usually include a picture.

I am making it a habit to stamp the inside of every card I create because it makes it so much easier to mail off. All I have to do is write my message and send it.

Beyond excited for this Catalog. You guys, it has A LOT of MUST HAVE stamps and paper. I can hear Taylor Swifts song in the background telling me; “you need to calm down… your spending too much” lol. 

Yes, I am a “Swifty.”

Did you know SOME of the kits don’t require stamping? They come with stickers, embellishments, envelopes and adhesive.

I truly enjoy Stampin’ Up Kits, especially when I have lost my MOJO, because you know… life. 

Kits are full of inspiration, you can use one of the layouts as a sketch and  create other cards.

I highly recommend the kits, if you like some of the kits, I suggest you grab more than one. Some will be discontinued and will not be restocked. This applies to the older kits.

For my Facebook Live, I had a special guest. My little one wanted to join and help me make the cards from the Blossoms Wishes kit.

You will see how easy it is to assemble the cards. My little one had so much fun putting them together.

This kit is a no-stamping kit and comes with beautiful sentiments in different languages and it is $11.70. 

You make 8 cards total; 

4 regular slim line 8-1/2" x 3-1/2" and 

4 mini slim line cards 6-1/4" x 3-1/4".

If you are a fan of slim line cards you will love this one.

This kit did not come with embellishments, I used the Iridescent Pastel Gems to bling-up the cards.
