Welcome back and thank you for stopping by.
I love making Halloween cards, and a lot of the cards in the July-December 2023 catalog are CASE worthy.
When I see a gift box in the catalog I usually try to recreate it as a card and I did with this bundle.
As I stated in my previous blog post, this bundle is very versatile and you can create so much with the dies alone. But, it is nice to have it as a bundle.
For my live I decided to make a Candy Corn card.
Are you a fan of candy corn? Most of my friends hate it. I must admit it does contain a lot of sugar but I still love it.
I also tried to make a candy corn tree using the Merriest Trees Bundle.
I’ve seen people keep their trees up all year long and they decorate it by season. Do you do that?
If I had room in my craft area I would.
You can find the measurements and details below.
I DO NOT provide PDF’s, for any of my FB Live videos.
However, I will give you the measurements but not instructions. If you would like to know how I achieved a certain technique I suggest you watch the video.
Alright let’s check out the cards.
CARD 1 (Portrait)
Cardbase: Pumpkin Pie
8 ½” x 5 ½” scored at 4 ¼”
Cardstock: Basic White
Daffodil Delight
Basic Gray
Pumpkin Pie
DSP: 5 ¼”x 4” (Them Bones)
Ink: Daffodil Delight
Wild Wheat
Memento Black
Tools: Tricks & Treats bundle
Pick of the Patch (dots)
Blending Brushes
Iridescent Gems
If time permits, I tend to stamp the inside of the card while I am live, if not I usually include a picture.
I am making it a habit to stamp the inside of every card I create because it makes it so much easier to mail off. All I have to do is write my message and send it.
If you would like to see the process, click on the video to watch.
Hope you have found some inspiration and if you have any questions regarding any products I have used or just in general please feel free and reach out. I will be more than happy to help.
THANK YOU FOR STOPPING BY.
